Sexy Floor Vents

Did I just call floor vents "sexy" ? In fact I did! And I think you'd agree with once you see how they can transform the look of your floors.
Here is a common case scenario - you leave in a nice single family house that you decided to renovate. One of the first things you did was choosing new gorgeous wide plank engineered wood floors. The issue is that you have your heating system running under and venting through floor vents that happen to be positioned in pretty visible places.
Last thing you want to do is put the ugly (let's admit it) metal vent covers back in.
So what are your options? Up until recently, you basically had 3 options:
Ugly basic metal floor vents
A little nicer ornamental metal floor vents (don't really work with the modern look)
Wood floor vents that are matched to your floor (hard to match when the floor is prefinished engineered wood)
However, now you have a really awesome new option that will make your floors look sleek and streamlined - the Aria vent. The most streamlined version of the vent Aria Pro needs to be installed before your new hardwood floors go in. It fits all standard vent openings and consists of 3 parts: the internal part that fits into the opening is secured to your underfloor, an airflow defuser that is inserted once the floor is installed and the decorative top with a piece of your floors installed into it. This design allows the vent to perfectly blend with your floor creating just a minimal clean opening for the airflow.

How awesome does this look!? And it's fully functional too - you can control the airflow through shutters hidden under the top cover.
This vent cover makes awkwardly positioned vents look minimal and less intrusive.
Below are some pictures from a recent client renovation to illustrate.

In addition to working wonderfully with wood floors, there is a number of different modifications of the vent that allow it to be used with tiled floors and with drywall - for the case when your vents are actually located in your ceiling.
And last but not least, if you want a DIY option that can work for existing floors, look at Aria OG that has an easy drop in installation, albeit a slightly more visible profile
The company is based in Canada, but you can find their products on Amazon for quick and easy delivery.
Hope this is helpful!
Thanks,
Alina
